Last week was marked by a series of significant events in celebration of International Women’s Day. The AIX trading hall hosted the “Ring The Bell for Gender Equality” ceremony, an international initiative promoting gender equality. This year, the event brought together accomplished women from the boards of Kazakhstan’s largest companies, along with students from NU and MNU – the future leaders of our society.

The Spring Synergy Fair: Celebrate, Connect, Create was a resounding success, attracting a large crowd of enthusiastic participants. This vibrant event quickly became a highlight, fostering creativity, supporting small businesses, and encouraging meaningful connections across our community.

We are also thrilled to report that the special edition of AIFC Masters, held in honour of International Women’s Day, was an immense success. The event featured an inspiring line-up of speakers who shared powerful insights on the role of women in society and finance.

In last week’s market overview, we saw a turbulent period for US stocks, with sharp fluctuations across major indices. After a dip on Monday and Tuesday, the market showed signs of recovery on Wednesday, only to face another decline on Thursday.

AFSA closed 2024 with record growth, further solidifying the AIFC’s position as a leading global financial hub.
