We have some exciting updates to share with you this week!
First and foremost, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to everyone on the upcoming Republic Day and wish Kazakhstan continued prosperity and success!
Last week, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev welcomed Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan on an official visit to Kazakhstan, during which both leaders visited the AIFC. They were introduced to the judicial system, the AIFC Court, the International Arbitration Centre and given an overview of the Astana Financial Services Authority.
In exciting leadership news, the AFSA Board of Directors has appointed Evgeniya Bogdanova as Chief Executive Officer with effect from 21 October 2024. Congratulations to Ms. Bogdanova on this important achievement!
Astana International Exchange continues its impressive growth, reporting a record year-to-date trading turnover of $922 million for the first nine months of 2024, with total trading since inception surpassing $2 billion.
