President of Kazakhstan and King of Jordan visited the Astana International Financial Centre
On 27 August, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, and His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan visited the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC).
During the visit, AIFC Governor Renat Bekturov briefed the distinguished guests on the financial centre`s achievements and the specific operational features of the AIFC Court, the International Arbitration Centre, the Astana Financial Services Authority, and the Astana International Exchange. The two heads of state were also presented with opportunities to enhance investment cooperation by leveraging the centre`s strengths – from portfolio investments to capital market access. The Governor also spoke about the unique corporate Museum of Trust by AIFC.
