Since its inception in 2018, the AIFC Court Moot Competition has been instrumental in developing legal talent in Kazakhstan and the broader Eurasia region. The AIFC Court and IAC outreach and training programme, via the AIFC Court and IAC Training Centre, has trained more than 6,500 people on the rule of law and international commercial dispute resolution, with more than 220 law students completing structured case management and business administration internship programmes.
Hundreds of students from Kazakhstan and Eurasia have participated in the AIFC Court’s and IAC’s competitions held annually in March, October, and November. The AIFC Court’s and IAC’s commitment to the training and development of the Kazakhstan and wider Eurasia business and legal communities is also raising awareness of their services. This growing recognition is positioning the AIFC Court and IAC as the preferred institutions for international commercial dispute resolution in Eurasia. It also equips lawyers and future lawyers with the skills necessary to effectively use the AIFC Court and IAC to protect investor rights.
