AIFC Governor Hosts Presight CEO
Renat Bekturov, Governor of the Astana International Financial Centre, welcomed Thomas Pramotedham, CEO of UAE-based Presight, for a meeting to explore potential collaboration on digital transformation and high-performance computing projects.
Presight, which is actively expanding its presence in Kazakhstan, has chosen the AIFC as the jurisdiction for its business operations in the country. During the meeting, the two leaders discussed ongoing projects that Presight is involved in, as well as opportunities for further cooperation that could benefit Kazakhstan through the combined expertise and experience of both organisations.

Earlier in the day, Pramotedham met with President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at the Akorda, where discussions centred around strategic cooperation in the fields of digital transformation and high-performance computing. President Tokayev underscored the importance of continued collaboration on initiatives designed to advance Kazakhstan’s technological capabilities.

A key topic of the meeting was the Smart City project, which is being developed in partnership with the Astana mayor’s office. The President expressed his strong support for AI-driven solutions aimed at enhancing urban infrastructure management. He also highlighted the establishment of a situational centre at the AlemAI International Centre for Artificial Intelligence, which is set to improve the efficiency of city services.

The meetings reflect Kazakhstan’s commitment to fostering innovation and advancing its technological infrastructure, with the AIFC playing a pivotal role in supporting such initiatives.
