Republic Day Celebration at AIFC
In honor of Kazakhstan's Republic Day, the AIFC held a special Recognition and Awards Ceremony, celebrating the dedication of our colleagues whose efforts drive our organization’s growth and impact.
A significant highlight was the recognition of AIFC Governor Renat Bekturov, CFA, who received the Order of "Kurmet" by decree of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. This prestigious award honors his contributions to Kazakhstan's development and global financial presence.
The ceremony, led by Governor Bekturov, celebrated team members for their exemplary service to both AIFC and Kazakhstan. Addressing the audience, he shared:
"Republic Day is a symbol of true independence, unity, and solidarity of our people, a vision long dreamed of by our ancestors. The achievements of the Astana International Financial Centre are the result of the high level of expertise and hard work of each one of you. Today, our centre has attracted over $13 billion in investments, registered more than 3,200 companies from 80 countries, in turn, those enterprises created new jobs and increased contributions to the state treasury."

National Medal "Eren enbegi ushin"
Several of our committed colleagues were awarded this distinguished national medal. According to Article 21 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On State Awards", the medal "Eren enbegi ushin" is awarded to citizens for their achievements in the economic, social, scientific, cultural and public service spheres.
