The US stock market closed higher on Monday.
The Dow Jones surged 1.23%, the S&P 500 rose 0.64%, and the Nasdaq gained 0.69%. The US 10-year Treasury yield increased by 1.4 b.p. to 4.18%.
Gold futures advanced 0.56% to $4,476.50, while Brent crude slipped 0.24% to $61.61.
The KASE index jumped 1.35%.
Across the S&P 500 sectors, Basic Materials led the gains, while Utilities was among the sectors finishing in the red, with 3 of the 11 sectors closing lower.
A new fruit processing plant has launched in Kazakhstan’s Turkestan region, producing natural juices, purées and apple powder under the Ayim brand with capacity of up to 5,000 tonnes of apples per year, supporting local farmers and adding value to domestic agricultural output.
