Bakytzhan SarsenovHead of Project (Mining) at the Product Development Platform
Bakytzhan is a PMP-certified project manager with experience in Mining & Metals and EPC project delivery. He managed a portfolio of 20+ mining EPC projects at BI Industrial, led major innovation and R&D initiatives at ERG, and supported strategic investments at Altynalmas. He holds a Master’s degree in Mining Engineering from Nazarbayev University and brings strong expertise in tendering, project planning, contractor management, and technology scouting.
Outside of work, Bakytzhan enjoys sports news ⚽, Eastern cuisine 🍜, and pop music 🎧. His favorite quote is:
“A true person is characterized by four qualities: a warm heart, a cool mind, strong hands, and a clear conscience.”
He recommends Gone with the Wind and The Lord of the Rings 📚 and dreams of visiting Great Britain 🇬🇧. -
Assemgul KhamidullovaManager of the Expat Centre
Assemgul graduated from Maqsut Narikbayev University in 2025 with a Bachelor’s degree in Translation Studies and a minor in Media Linguistics. She is also the co‑author of a research paper presented at the Central Asia Language Education Conference 2024 📚✨
Her professional background includes experience in translation management, international event support, and project‑based linguistic services.
Outside of work, Assemgul enjoys jogging 🏃♀️, appreciates Central Asian cuisine 🍽️, and listens to R&B music 🎧. She recommends the book “Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close” by Jonathan Safran Foer 📖, and her dream travel destination is Norway 🌍✨
